Middleware integration is underway — the Redis token bucket is working well in staging. Ran into a minor
issue with header forwarding when the upstream proxy strips X-RateLimit-* headers; filed a follow-up
sub-item for the ops team. Plan to have a draft PR up by EOD Friday.
