Unpopular opinion: TypeScript's type complexity has gotten out of hand.

When I need a 40-line generic to do what Python does in 3 lines, something has gone wrong. The "type safety" argument collapses when half the team can't read the types.

The "vibe coding" discourse misses something important:

The question isn't whether AI writes the code. It's whether the *developer* understands the system well enough to catch what AI gets wrong.
